Summer Field
Biology High School Internship
APEC is offering a Summer Internship for
entering High School sophomores, juniors
and seniors. Over the months of
July and August our interns will explore
the many habitats and ecosystems of one
of New York City’s most treasured parks.
Classes will meet on Thursdays at
variety of different locations around
our 635 acre park with Alley Pond
Environmental Center being the main
location to observe and document
animals, plants and geological features
of each site and research information on
these observations to create a
comprehensible local field guide of
Alley Pond Park. Please

Registration
for September, October, November and
December classes is not continuous for
current students. Registration is on a
first come, first served basis.
A registration
deposit of $25 will be required at
registration with the balance of the fee
due on
Friday August 15th.
You may pay by
cash, check (payable to APEC) or credit
card.

Waiting List
If it appears that
you will be closed out of particular
class, please put your name on a waiting
list.
Additional classes
may be formed on another day. You will
be called if this occurs.
Missed Classes
No refunds or
credits will be given for one-time
programs. You may give your spot to
another
child if the child
is the appropriate age for the program.

switch of names.
Make-ups are
allowed for multi-session programs only
if the front registration desk is
notified
before your child
is noted as absent. Only TWO make-ups
are allowed per SESSION. Sunny
Bunnies
participants are allowed three
make-ups.

month that he/she
