Our Schedule
APEC’s schedule is full of annual events and festivals! There are old favorites like the annual SQUARE DANCE , and new events like Walk for APEC.

Thousands join us each year for Estuary Day and World Environment Day. Young artists and their families and friends fill APEC for the annual Arline Thomas Awards.

Please join us for one or more of these events. Support our programs, learn something new about the environment, and have some fun!

APEC Staff Reunion

For the first time, please join APEC for a Staff Reunion on the evening of Friday, March 22. All former and current staff members are invited to come and see how APEC has changed over the years, learn about new programming we now offer, see current plans for our new facility, and meet the people who do your job today! Dinner and refreshments will be served.

 

$15 Members, $20 Non-Members per person $25 Members, $30 Non-Members per couple $10 per child ages 10 and under Time: 6PM-9PM

APEC Square Dance

Saturday, April 13, 7PM-9PM at APEC Doors Open at 6:30 PM Dance starts promptly at 7PM Fee: $12 APEC members $15 non-members Children ages 7-12: $8 each Children must be registered with a paying adult.

 

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Join us for a fun evening of dancing with Square Dance Caller Jim Emory. Learn to Do-Si-Do, Promenade, and Swing-Your-Partner. Beginners are welcome. Its fun and friendship set to music. Try this fun way to exercise together! Partners are not required.

Spring is right around the corner and at the Alley Pond Environmental Center we are making plans for the 34th Annual Arbor Day Celebration! We are thrilled to have you, your friends and your family at this exciting event on:

Join tree lovers, APEC members, scout groups and students as we help to clean-up the park, remove invasive plant species and plant trees and shrubs in honor of this special day. *Please note, a nominal fee applies.* Contact APEC to register.

APEC Staff Reunion

APEC joins with the United Nations Environmental Program and other local organizations to celebrate World Environment Day. Join us for a free Open House to celebrate this special day. Speakers from the U.N., hands on demonstrations and exhibits from local organizations and more is being planned. APEC is waiting to hear the announcement regarding the theme this year – so stay tuned. Give us a call.
